Plaintiffs in N.C. gerrymandering case say new maps are not an option for November

After persuading federal judges to declare the state’s Republican-drawn congressional maps unconstitutional, the plaintiffs have “reluctantly concluded” that there isn’t enough time to redraw the districts before the midterms.
