None of 42 migrants arrested in Tijuana border clash will face charges

  • US border patrol detained 42 people for illegal entry
  • Unclear if arrested migrants will be deported

No criminal charges will be filed against any of the 42 migrants arrested in a clash that ended with US authorities firing teargas into Mexico, the Associated Press has learned.

Rodney Scott, chief of the border patrol’s San Diego sector, has said those arrested for illegal entry included 27 men, with the rest being women and children.
